July 1st 2013 was the day I wrote my first blog post.. That day seems like so long ago now.
I really enjoy blogging and I'm so happy I've managed to stick to it for a year! Although my posts haven't been constant I have tried to write when ever I can.
I really hope you are all enjoying my blog and I appreciate every read it gets. Looking up to bloggers such as zoella give me my inspiration to blog more. This year of blogging has truly been amazing and I can't wait to see what the rest of the years bring
Thank you again to everyone who has supported my blog over the last year!
I absolutely love my showers so today I thought I'd share what's In my shower....
Firstly, the shampoo and conditioner I've been using at the moment is from herbal essences, I do like these both but they aren't my favorites from the herbal essences collection. I do prefer the red beautiful ends shampoo and conditioner just becuase it works better with my type of hair.
Next I've been using a face scrub from st Ives, I use this about 2-3 times a week. This is a really good face scrub, it has a creamy texture added with a scent of apricot, it's gentle but still does a good job. I would definelty recommend this scrub to anyone who is new to face scrubs or just looking for an affordable & good scrub.
So latley the radox shower gels is all I've been using. This one in my shower is a new version and it smells beautiful I love it. This shower gel leaves me feeling clean and fresh, all the scents that this shower gel comes in smell amazing.
I like to change the stuff I use in the shower regularly becuase I like to try different products and scents. I find it hard to stick to the same shampoo or shower gel for a while becuase i find they just get boring.
Today's post is about my 'everyday make up', recently I haven't been wearing much make up as my skin has been really good but at weekends I would normally wear this.
Once I've moisturised I would apply my foundation, 25 hour lasting finish by Rimmel is still my favourite.
I also love Barry m liquid eyeliner, this is such an easy product to use, before I got this I struggled a lot with eyeliner but now it's simple. Other products i use daily are mac studio fix powder, maybeille great lash mascara and Vaseline. This make up "combo" gives a natural effect with a pop ahah.
My make up brush is actually from eBay, after reading many blog posts about these brushes I decided to buy one and I love it. It looks the same to the real technique brushes and it works just as well. It was really cheap too, I can't remember the exact price but it was no more than £2.
Thanks for reading guys, I hope you all liked this post and comment down below your make up recommendations, bye.
It's hard to believe we are in March already, this year is going too quick. I'm so exicted about the start of spring just becuase it means we are getting closer to summer. I went shopping yesterday and it seems all the shops are getting rid of all the dark stuff and bringing in brighter clothes. I got a pastel pink light-weight jumper from newlook it's perfect for this time of the year.
So anyway, this month I want to set myself a goal. My prom is getting approaching fast (June) so it's time I started a workout and stuck to it!
If you have gave yourself some goals for March make sure you tell me them down in the comments
After watching YouTube for about 2-3 years I have a lot of favourites. I remember when I first discovered YouTube and all the beauty videos and DIY's, I was never off it. So here's a few of my favourites...
Yesterday was the Brits! I loved the show so much, everyone looked amazing and there were lots of great performances. My favourite performances of the night were Beyoncé, disclosure & Lorde, Rudemental and Ellie Goulding. James corden did a great job presenting the show as always, it's sad that he isn't going to do it anymore. Best dressed for me had to be Rita Ora, Beyoncé and Pixie Lott.
Pixie Lott was all in white and she looked beautiful I love her dress. I remember seeing Ellie Goulding win an award and one direction also won 2 , it was a great night for British music.
Hope you are all having a nice day. Today I've decided to do one of my favourite types of posts ... A Wishlist. When ever I'm on Bloglovin and I see someone's Wishlist it instantly makes me want to go shopping, I don't know maybe it's just something to look forward to. Everyone loves getting new clothes don't they. I'm definelty one of those people where I like to be organised and write lists and things and a Wishlist is just all the things I want at the moment.
For the last 2 weeks all I've been saying is I need a new bag and after searching everywhere I came across this one on Miss guided and throught it was cute. And for the two shirts ... Well I just love shirts.
Today I want to talk about kylie Jenner's hair, I aboustley am in love with it. I'm sure you have all seen Kylie's new short hair all over Instagram the past few weeks. Although her long hair was amazing and long before, I think her new short look is working well. Her hair always looks so healthy and fresh but messy (a good kinda messy) at the same time which I am very jealous about, I must admit.
Seeing kylie going from long to quite short has made me think about cutting my own hair if I'm honest, I've been growing it out for a while now but i know from past experiences how short hair can be annoying. Kylie looks like she's enjoying it though as she keeps having it cut even shorter!
Kylie has even had the bottoms of her hair lightened which gives it the edgy look she always wears. Kylie is my celeb girl crush at the minute, I love her style too.
All the pictures in this post were taken from Kylie's Instagram, you can see even more on there.
Thanks for reading, I'll post again during the week. Comment below what you think about Kylie's new look.
So last Sunday I went and did a little shop, I say little but it's much more like tiny. Normally I wouldn't do a haul but I really love these products and thought they were worth sharing, so here you go...
~ Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
This may surprise some of you but I have never tried this foundation before. The only reason I did buy it is becuase I noticed it on sale in boots for £5. I can honestly say it lasts for quite a while and blends so easily. I use the expert face brush from real techniques as it creates a flawless look. This foundation is definelty my new favourite!
~ Lush 'sex bomb'
I absolutely love this bath bomb, it looks pretty, smells really good and is a great price. There's nothing bad to say about it if I'm honest. I like to save this for pamper evenings or if I need to relax.
~ Real Techniques Dupe
Okay guys, so I was reading a blog and I noticed they did a review on 'real techniques brushes dupes'. The review was so good that I immediately had to go and buy the brushes too. I only brought one and it's so similar to the real techniques expert face brush, I was shocked. The only difference I could see with the two brushes is that the dupe isn't as dense as the real techniques but that's fine for £1.98. It works just as well and looks exactly the same, you can get these from EBay.
~ Barry M Gelly Nail Polish
It's been so long since I've brought any nail polishes so these 3 were well needed. While my collection keeps growing with all different brands and shades I always find myself going back to Barry M simply becuase they're great. If you've never tried the Gelly collection, I suggest you do, these polishes are so shiny and stay on without chipping. The shades I recently picked up are ... Pomegranate, Passion fruit and Prickly pear.

This book is amazing! I got it for Christmas and I've fallen in love with it, it's that good. It consists of beauty tips and tricks, fitness, skincare, hair, nails and much more. It completely covers every aspect of beauty there is.
As soon as I began to read the book, I couldn't put it down. All together the book has 12 chapters and includes some personal stories that Lauren has gone through herself. I liked reading about her first photoshoot and seeing her make up looks she's tried throughout the years.
Chapter One - Finding your beauty
In this first chapter Lauren talks about how we are all beautiful in different ways, we just need to find it. I really liked this chapter it was a great way to start the book instead of just jumping straight into the best way to apply mascara like most beauty books.
Chapter Two - Skincare
This is one of the most important chapters becuase Lauren explains how you need to take care of your skin in order for you to look your best. In this chapter there is a page about 'reading your face', it shows you what your spots really mean.
Chapter Three - Haircare
This chapter talks about how to promote hair growth and the best hairstyles that suit your hair type/face shape.
Chapter Four - Stress
This is a really good chapter. I was so shocked to read how much stress can affect your skin, hair and nails! Luckily, Lauren included ways to avoid getting stressed and how to get all the 'beauty sleep' you need.
Chapter Five - Fitness and Food
This chapter was very helpful for me as one of my New Years resolutions is to eat better and be more fit. It talks about exercise tips and where you can find the vitiams you need.
Chapter Six - Make up Tips, Tricks, and Techniques
This is the part of the book where it actually is make up related. Now we know everything about caring for our skin it's the perfect time to start talking make up and I loved the way Lauren organised this book by having different sections for each step of make up.
Chapter Seven - Everyday Make up
Lauren shows us the make up look she turns to daily and what she uses. It's a step to step guide of how to achieve the perfect face of make up. She highlights how it's all about enhancing your features and not covering them.
Chapter Eight - Party Make up
This part of the book is perfect if you have an event coming up and you want to look your best. It's full of lots of different party looks to try.
Chapter Nine - Everyday Hair
Lauren shows you how she gets her everyday waves and much more.
Chapter Ten - Party Hair
This chapter includes different party hairstyles to try if your going to a party. They are all gorgeous.
Chapter Eleven - Nails
Lauren talks about manicures, nails art and basic nail care.
Chapter Twelve - Beauty Through The Decades
This is the last chapter In book, it talks about how much beauty has changed over the years and how much trends come and go.
This book is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone, it's helped me with so much and taught me lots of new tricks. Lauren has a range of different books but I'm really exicted to read her style one next. You can buy the book from amazon for £10
So 2014 has begun... I can't believe its a new year already .
It seemed like Christmas and new year just flew by!
Considering this is my first blog post of the year, the only thing it could have been was a New Years resolutions post, I love knowing other peoples resolutions so I thought I'd share mine. This year I found it hard to think of a resolution that I was really going to stick to but I came up with 3 that I'm going to give a good go.
First is the one that I'm sure everyone has, to get in shape. After pigging out at Christmas it's definitely time for a cleanse and some good workout sessions. With my prom coming up in the summer I figured its time to do this and stick to it , things like going running and mini workouts in the week is what I'm trying to achieve.
My next New Years resolution is TO BLOG MORE! I know I'm so bad at blogging frequently but this year I'm going to try to blog at least once every fortnight. I'm sorry for the last year I've been pretty useless but I'm changing! Hahaa
Lastly I'm going to be more motivated to try different things . I'm one of them people who if I don't want to do something I won't do it, so this year I'm pushing myself out of my comfort zone and going for it. I hope you all enjoyed reading my New Years resolutions and let me know yours in the comments.
